Doing Better

What I find interesting about depression, s that it sneaks up on me and affects me without even knowing it is there. After struggling for days and weeks wondering what was wrong, I finally figured it out, and the depression lost its power. Knowing is sometimes the hardest part of the battle.

So many times we focus on what we are doing instead of how we are feeling. What are you feeling today? Think about it, you may be happy on the outside, but down on the inside. I find myself stepping back from life when something is wrong. When I am depressed I tend to withdraw, and have little energy to do what I love doing. It happens, and sometimes acknowledging it is the hardest part.

I hope you are well and in good spirits. If you are not, it's okay. We all go through it. Look inside, be truthful about how you feel, and keep on going. Rest if you must, but do not quit!
